Mission:
The mission of the Integrated
Circuit Industrial Consortium is to foster the collaboration and activities in
integrated-circuit (IC) design between HKUST researchers and the industry and
thus to enhance the IC design capability and competitiveness in Hong Kong.
Objectives:
- To support and encourage IC
design activities in Hong Kong and in Mainland
- To develop and provide IP
depository on IC design
- To strengthen IC design
activities in HKUST and Hong Kong and maintain world-class status
Initial Goals:
- Develop long-term collaboration
to companies
- Identify sustaining service
areas to companies
- Provide design support in IC
design (design, services, training, consultant)
- Provide well-trained IC
designers
